Aliza Landau Speaks to Maj. Peter Lerner at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp

At the Auschwitz concentration camp, Maj. Peter Lerner, Spokesman for the Central Command, speaks with Aliza Landau, a Holocaust survivor, who shares her feelings about being part of the IDF delegation's visit to concentration camps and Holocaust memorial sites in Poland.

The IDF's "Witnesses in Uniform" program selects officers from units all over the army multiple times a year and sends them on a one-week journey to Poland. On the trip the delegation members visit extermination camps, concentration camps and memorials to the victims of the Holocaust and the Jewish communities of Eastern Europe.
